Biography
写真家 京嶋 良太
1979年2月 山梨県生まれ、現在 神奈川県在住。
2001年から1年間滞在したオーストラリアで、雄大な自然の景色に触れたことをきっかけに写真に興味を持つ。 帰国後、写真の道へ進むため上京し、数年のアシスタント経験を経て2007年に独立。
現在は自身の作品制作にも注力し、人や自然、動植物などの関係のなかにある距離や時間に着目し、その関わりのなかで生まれる変化や歪みのようなものを見つめている。
主な個展に、2015年「URASHIMA」（新宿・大阪ニコンサロン）、2017年「静けさの先にあるもの」 （銀座・大阪ニコンサロン）、2021年「流れる響きのなかで」（ギャラリーふげん社）、2023年「風の痕跡」 （Sony imaging gallery）がある。2019年、第八回 EMON AWARDファイナリストに選出。
RYOTA KYOSHIMA Photographer
Born in Yamanashi in 1979; currently based in Kanagawa, Japan.
His journey into photography began in 2001 during a year-long stay in Australia, inspired by the scale of its natural landscapes. After returning to Japan, he relocated to Tokyo, working as an assistant before launching his independent career in 2007.
Today, he dedicates himself to his personal artistic practice. His practice explores the distance and time embedded within the relationships between humans, nature, flora, and fauna, capturing the delicate shifts and distortions that emerge from their interconnectedness.
